Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Cellular Pet Salon In Hillsborough
James Taylor is deeply concerned about the experience that his five-pound JUJU had last weekend. Taylor said that after Jujur was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.
Taylor told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Jujur's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."
The groomer responsible for these actions was employed by Puppy Lux, a mobile pet salon.
James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. James has accused Puppylux of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Puppy Lux.
James described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. These cuts were so bad that they bled."
Jack Smithr - a Puppy Lux client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. Another customer took a Snapchat of a dog appearing to be in pain. They claimed that a groomer inserted an ear napkin by force.
Puppy lux wants its customers to understand what their groomer said to him. After all, they trusted animal abuse attorney this person with the care of their animals. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He also stated that he personally applies this method to his own dog."
Fox contacted Puppy Lux, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. But when Puppy was brought up, she said it was a different entity and ended the call abruptly.
